Recommended Installation Steps
Confirm the fitment and orientation. Before removing any liner, position each pre-cut piece over its intended application area and identify the driver- and passenger-side overlays.
Clean the headlights thoroughly. Remove dust, wax, sealants, fingerprints and road contamination. Complete the final cleaning with an appropriate surface-preparation cleaner and a clean, lint-free microfiber towel.
Plan the alignment. Use the surrounding headlight edges and body lines as visual references. Confirm where each overlay should begin and end before exposing the adhesive.
Position the pre-cut overlay. Peel back a manageable portion of the liner and lightly place the vinyl at the chosen alignment point. Avoid applying firm pressure until the position has been confirmed.
Apply with controlled pressure. Work gradually across the overlay using overlapping strokes with a clean application squeegee or wrapped application card. Push trapped air toward the nearest open edge.
Conform the material carefully. Work slowly around curved and narrow areas. If adjustment is necessary, gently reposition the film before applying firm final pressure.
Inspect and secure every edge. Confirm that the entire perimeter is secured and that no air remains near an edge. Repeat the process on the opposite headlight using matching alignment references.
Care and Maintenance
Allow the overlays to settle before washing or aggressively cleaning the area.
Use a soft microfiber towel and vinyl-safe cleaning products.
Avoid abrasive brushes, compounds and harsh chemical cleaners.
Do not aim concentrated pressure-washer spray directly at the vinyl edges.
