Road debris and everyday use can leave marks on exposed front surfaces. PPF adds a sacrificial layer to help reduce surface wear while keeping the original paint color visible. Install the kit yourself to avoid professional installation labor, with the time and attention curved panels require.

Film cannot prevent every impact or repair existing chips, scratches or damaged paint.

Excluded coverage: The factory matte black hood decal, textured black cladding, grilles, vents, fog lights, separate trim and hardware, mirrors, doors, roof and rear panels. Replacement vehicle parts and professional installation are not included.

DIY Installation Overview

Use a clean, sheltered workspace with cool panels and good lighting. Have suitable PPF application solutions, clean spray bottles, microfiber towels and a PPF squeegee ready.

1. Check every piece. Compare the film with its matching surface before peeling the backing.
2. Prepare the surface. Wash and decontaminate the vehicle. Address existing damage and remove substances that interfere with adhesion as directed by the film instructions.
3. Prepare your solutions. Follow the supplied film and application-product directions for mixing and use.
4. Wet and align. Keep hands clean and work one section at a time. Align the film around the specified boundaries without covering the hood decal or textured cladding.
5. Squeegee with control. Use overlapping passes to move solution toward the edges. Do not force a misaligned piece, stretch excessively or cut against paint or lenses.
6. Inspect and cure. Check alignment and edges, then follow the film instructions before washing or applying pressure.

Large panels and curved bumper areas require patience and film-handling skill. This overview does not replace the complete supplied instructions. Stop and contact PAS with photos if alignment or edge adhesion is a problem.

Care & Durability

After the specified curing period, gently hand wash using compatible products and clean microfiber. Remove contamination promptly. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh solvents and pressure-washer jets directed at film edges.

Actual film life varies with installation, climate, exposure and maintenance. Removal can damage compromised, repaired or repainted finishes; assess the surface condition before installation or removal.
