Transparent Smoked Taillight Styling
2023–2026 BMW G87 M2 Smoked Taillight Tint Pre-Cut Vinyl Overlays
Darken the factory-clear lower sections of your BMW G87 M2 taillights with transparent smoked pre-cut overlays. Designed to cover the lower portion of both taillights—including the visible clear lens areas—this complete driver- and passenger-side set creates a darker, more aggressive appearance without replacing the factory light assemblies.
Complete Taillight Set One order includes the pre-cut overlays for both the driver and passenger taillights.
Transparent Smoke Tint Darkens the factory-clear areas while retaining visible lens depth and internal detail.
No Light Replacement Installs directly over the factory taillight surfaces without removing the assemblies.
Smoke the Factory-Clear Sections
The factory G87 M2 taillights feature clear areas across the lower portion of each light. These smoked taillight tint overlays are pre-cut to cover those lower clear sections, replacing the bright factory appearance with a darker and more unified finish.
The smoked film remains transparent rather than creating a solid blackout. Internal reflector patterns, optical details and natural lens depth remain visible beneath the overlay for a clean, integrated appearance.
Coverage Area
These overlays cover the lower portion of the driver- and passenger-side taillights, specifically the factory-clear lens areas. They are not designed to cover the complete taillight assembly.

These overlays are designed around the factory G87 M2 taillight lenses. Aftermarket taillights, replacement housings, repaired lenses or regional lighting differences may affect fitment.
Installation Guide
-
Clean the lenses.
Wash and dry the taillights thoroughly. Remove all wax, sealant, oil, dirt and detailing residue from the lower clear lens areas.
-
Confirm the orientation.
Position each overlay over its corresponding taillight before removing the backing. Confirm the shape, direction and perimeter alignment.
-
Position the overlay.
Separate the film from the backing and lightly place it over the lower clear section. Avoid firmly pressing the material until the alignment is correct.
-
Apply with controlled pressure.
Work gradually from the center outward, using your fingers or a soft felt-edge squeegee to reduce trapped air and lay the film flat.
-
Finish and inspect the edges.
Use gentle heat only when needed to help the film conform. Press the perimeter securely and confirm that every edge is flat and properly adhered.
Installation Conditions
Install in a clean, shaded and temperature-controlled environment. Avoid applying the film to a hot lens or in direct sunlight.
