Your Lightning. Your Garage. Your Project.
Professional PPF packages can cost thousands of dollars. This kit gives you a way to protect the listed front-end surfaces yourself, without paying a shop to install them. Your actual savings depend on the kit price, local installation quote, and coverage being compared.
Precut film gives you vehicle-specific coverage shapes instead of starting with a bulk roll. You supply the time, clean workspace, and careful technique. The Lightning’s wide hood and curved bumper still require attention to alignment, fluid removal, and film tension.
Ford F-150 Lightning Front PPF Coverage
-
Hood: Coverage for the upper hood surface.
-
Front fenders: Left and right front fender coverage.
-
Front bumper: Precut coverage for the corresponding bumper surfaces.
-
Headlights: Film pieces for the matching headlight lenses.
Clear film, red coverage guide. Red shading in the images identifies the listed areas; the installed film is transparent. Coverage illustrations do not establish exact cut boundaries, sensor openings, seams, or wrapped edges. Grille and cross-grille light-bar coverage are not part of the listed kit contents.

Vehicle Fitment
Designed for the Ford F-150 Lightning in these listed model years:
202220232024
Match your truck’s factory hood, front fenders, bumper, and headlights to the applicable production pattern before installation. This listing is for the electric F-150 Lightning; do not substitute it for a conventional F-150 or Raptor kit.
Verify your components. Trim, production changes, regional differences, repaired panels, and aftermarket parts can affect pattern fit. Send Premium Auto Styling your VIN and clear front-end photos if you need help. Charge-port-door treatment and individual cutouts must match the supplied pattern; do not infer them from red coverage shading.
DIY Installation from Your Home or Garage
Choose a sheltered, well-lit workspace with enough room around the truck. Review the film and solution instructions before opening the kit, and work on cool surfaces away from wind and direct sun.
-
Check the pieces. Compare each piece with its matching panel before peeling the release liner. Resolve fitment concerns before application.
-
Prepare the surfaces. Wash, decontaminate, and inspect the paint and lenses. Address loose coatings, failing paint, or existing damage before installing film.
-
Prepare the application products. Use TACK and SLIP only at the dilution and application method specified for the supplied products. Keep bottles, hands, and tools clean.
-
Align one piece at a time. Keep the adhesive wet as directed, align the piece to its panel, and establish position before setting the film. Avoid forcing a misaligned piece into place.
-
Squeegee with control. Use overlapping passes to move application fluid toward the edges. Avoid excessive stretching, pressure, or heat. Never cut directly against paint or light lenses.
-
Inspect and allow curing. Check alignment, contamination, and edges. Follow the film’s curing instructions before washing or exposing fresh edges to pressure.
Need help? Stop and photograph the affected area before making further adjustments. Do not puncture bubbles, slice film on the truck, or aggressively heat a lifting edge. This overview is a starting point; follow the complete instructions for your film and supplied application products.
Film Durability & Care
The film is a sacrificial layer over your vehicle’s finish. Its appearance and service life depend on surface preparation, installation, climate, driving conditions, and maintenance. A hard impact can still damage film or paint; PPF does not repair existing chips or scratches.
Follow VOIR’s current care guidance, including no washing during the first 14 days of curing. After curing, hand-wash with pH-neutral soap and clean microfiber. Remove contamination promptly and avoid abrasive washes, automatic brush washes, harsh solvents, and abrasive polishes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I install this in my garage?
Yes. This kit is intended for DIY application in a clean, sheltered workspace. Strong lighting, patient alignment, and careful film handling matter. A wide hood and curved bumper can be challenging for a first-time installer.
How does DIY installation save money?
You perform the installation yourself rather than pay a shop for that labor. Compare the kit price with a local quote for equivalent coverage to estimate your savings; a specific dollar saving is not guaranteed.
Is the film red?
No. The film is clear gloss. Red areas in the images illustrate coverage only.
Does this protect the whole truck?
No. It covers the listed hood, front fenders, front bumper, and headlights. Doors, bed, tailgate, roof, mirrors, grille, and cross-grille light bar are not included.
Does it fit a regular F-150?
This listing is for the 2022–2024 electric F-150 Lightning. Conventional F-150 and Raptor components can differ; use the correct vehicle-specific kit.
Are installation tools included?
Yes. The kit includes the PAS tool assortment listed above, including TACK and SLIP solutions.
What if a piece does not fit or an edge lifts?
Stop, photograph the piece and matching panel, and contact Premium Auto Styling. Do not cut, puncture, or repeatedly heat the film to force a fit.
