Visually Confirm Your Console
Your shifter trim must have one uninterrupted panel on the right side
of the shifter. If your vehicle has a rectangular button marked
“VIEW” in that location, this is not the correct product. Select the
separate PPF listing designed for the camera-button configuration.
Recommended Installation Tools
Wet Installation Guide

Verify the configuration.
Confirm that the right side of the shifter trim does not contain a
camera VIEW button. Compare the complete panel shape with the product
images before removing the film liner.

Prepare the installation area.
Remove dust, fingerprints, oils, dressing and other contamination.
Complete the final cleaning with 70% isopropyl alcohol or an
appropriate surface-preparation cleaner and a lint-free microfiber.

Prepare the application solution.
Fill a clean spray bottle with approximately 16 ounces of water and
one small drop of dish soap, or use Premium Surface Lube.

Wet the trim and adhesive.
Lightly mist the clean shifter trim. Remove the film from its liner
with clean, wet hands and lightly mist the adhesive side.

Position the overlay.
Place the film over the shifter trim and slide it carefully into
alignment. Confirm the perimeter, shifter opening and indicator area
before beginning final squeegee work.

Remove the application solution.
Hold the film in position and use controlled, overlapping squeegee
strokes from the center toward the nearest edge. Continue until the
film is stable and excess solution has been removed.

Secure the edges.
Inspect the perimeter for remaining moisture or unsecured areas.
Additional squeegee pressure may be applied with care. Gentle heat may
be used only after the application solution has been removed.

Allow the film to set.
Keep the protected surface dry and avoid unnecessary contact while
the remaining moisture evaporates and the adhesive develops its bond.
Initial Installation Appearance
A slight haze or small moisture pockets may remain immediately after wet
installation. These can improve as the remaining application moisture
evaporates. Drying time varies with temperature, humidity, solution
amount and installation technique. Do not aggressively lift or disturb
film that is curing normally.
Care and Maintenance
- Clean the protected trim with a soft microfiber towel.
- Avoid abrasive brushes, compounds and aggressive interior chemicals.
- Do not pick at or repeatedly rub the film edges.
- Wipe spills and contamination away promptly.

Actual service life depends on installation, use, exposure, cleaning
products and maintenance.
