The factory amber reflector can interrupt the darker appearance of the Subaru Steering Responsive Headlight. These pre-cut WRX amber-delete overlays install directly onto the exterior headlight lens to visually conceal or darken the reflector area while preserving the original factory headlight assembly.
Unlike painted headlights or replacement housings, this modification requires no headlight disassembly and can be removed later using proper automotive vinyl-removal techniques.
Opaque gloss-black air-release wrap vinyl that completely conceals the amber reflector and creates a deep, reflective blackout finish. Installed using a dry application method.
Opaque satin-black automotive wrap vinyl with a smooth, low-sheen finish. It completely conceals the amber reflector while providing a softer appearance than gloss black. Installed dry.
Transparent charcoal tint film that darkens the reflector while allowing the factory amber color and reflector texture to remain visible beneath the film. Installed using a wet application method.

Fitment is determined by the factory headlight assembly—not only the vehicle year. This overlay is shaped specifically for the Steering Responsive Headlight reflector area. It does not fit the chrome-housing halogen headlight used on other WRX trim levels.
Installation typically takes approximately 20 minutes. Work indoors or in a shaded, controlled environment. Never install film onto a hot headlight or in direct sunlight.
Recommended tools: Lint-free microfiber towel, surface-preparation solution, felt-edge squeegee and a heat gun or hair dryer for controlled post-heating. Smoke tint also requires a clean spray bottle containing a mild soap-and-water installation solution.
