Watch Before You Install

Recommended supplies: A spray bottle with a light soap-and-water solution, a felt-edge squeegee, and a clean microfiber towel.
Prepare the taillights. Clean the intended application areas thoroughly. Remove dirt, wax, dressing, and residue using a cleaner compatible with the lenses.
Identify and lightly mist. Match each piece to the correct side. Remove the backing and lightly mist the adhesive side with the soap-and-water solution.
Position the overlay. Align the film with the designated insert area. Confirm the perimeter and any cutouts are positioned correctly before applying firm pressure.
Squeegee out moisture. Work from the center toward the edges using controlled pressure to remove application fluid and trapped air.
Inspect and allow to dry. Check the edges and allow remaining moisture to dry before washing. Gentle, controlled heat may help with contours when needed; avoid overheating the film or lens.

Application can take approximately 10 minutes once the lenses are prepared. Allow additional time for cleaning, careful alignment, and drying. Installation time varies with experience and conditions.
