Installation Guide
Step 1: Prepare the Emblems
Thoroughly clean each factory emblem to remove dirt, dust, wax, ceramic coating,
detailing products and other surface contaminants. Each emblem must be completely
clean and dry before installation. For the best adhesion, complete the final cleaning
step with a vinyl-safe surface-preparation solution.
Step 2: Check the Installation Conditions
Install the overlays in a clean, shaded and temperature-controlled environment.
Do not install in direct sunlight or on a hot, cold or wet surface. For the best
results, we recommend an installation temperature between
65°F and 72°F.
Step 3: Test the Alignment
Before removing the backing paper, position each overlay over its corresponding
factory emblem to confirm the shape, orientation and proper alignment. Identify
the front, rear and steering wheel pieces before beginning the application.
Step 4: Align and Apply
Carefully remove the overlay from its backing and align it with the shape and edges
of the factory emblem. Avoid allowing the entire adhesive surface to make contact
until you are satisfied with its position. Begin applying from one area and work
gradually across the emblem using your fingertip or a soft application tool.
Step 5: Secure the Overlay
Once properly aligned, press firmly across the entire overlay—especially around
the perimeter—to activate the adhesive. Avoid washing the vehicle or exposing
the overlays to unnecessary moisture for at least 24 hours after installation.
Installation Notice
These Stealth vinyl overlays are precision-cut to cover the visible faces of the
factory emblems. Careful alignment is required. If an overlay is installed
off-center, a portion of the original blue-and-chrome emblem may remain visible
around the edge.
