Change the Look Without Replacing Your Fog Lights

Give your 2015–2021 Subaru WRX or STI a distinctive lower-bumper detail with colored fog light tint. These adhesive-backed overlays apply over the exterior of the existing lenses, allowing you to customize their appearance without replacing the lights, changing bulbs, or modifying the wiring.

Our pre-cut design provides a starting shape with additional material to help work around the lens curvature. Final trimming may be required after the film has been positioned and conformed.

Compare your fog lights with the listing photos before ordering. Vehicles without fog lights, aftermarket lighting, or modified bumper assemblies require separate fitment verification.

Installation Overview

Recommended tools: Spray bottle with a light soap-and-water solution, a squeegee, and a heat gun. Have a suitable trimming tool available if excess material needs finishing.

1. Prepare the lens and access area.
   Clean the fog light thoroughly and remove wax, dirt, and residue. Remove the surrounding bezel as recommended to improve access around the lens.
2. Lightly mist and position.
   Lightly mist the adhesive side of the film with the soap-and-water solution, then position the overlay over the cleaned fog light.
3. Squeegee and conform.
   Work gradually to push application solution and trapped air toward the edges. Use controlled heat as needed to help the film follow the lens curvature, avoiding overheating.
4. Finish the perimeter.
   Trim excess material only where needed, taking care not to score the lens or surrounding trim. Inspect the edges and allow the application to dry before reinstalling the bezel or washing.

Allow approximately 30 minutes for application, with additional time for preparation, bezel removal, and drying. Installation time varies with experience and conditions.

Care & Removal

Once the film has fully adhered and dried, clean gently and avoid directing high-pressure water at the edges. Periodically check the perimeter for lifting or trapped debris.

The overlays are removable for future styling changes. Removal results depend on lens condition, existing coatings, exposure, and how long the film has been installed.
