Premium Automotive Tint Film
We use premium automotive-grade tint film selected for exterior vehicle applications. The smoked material is translucent charcoal, giving the covered lens a darker appearance while retaining visible texture and internal detail.
The finish can appear lighter under direct illumination and darker in shade. Reflections, lens color and viewing angle all influence the final look.

Installation Overview
Careful preparation and alignment help produce a clean finish. Work in a sheltered area on a cool lens surface, and follow the application guidance supplied with your kit.

Prepare the surface. Remove dirt, wax, sealant and other residue from each application area, including the lens edges.

Identify each piece. Compare the driver-side and passenger-side overlays with their corresponding lens areas before removing the backing.

Position and apply. Use the recommended dry or light-mist application method for the supplied film. Align the overlay and squeegee from the center toward the edges.

Inspect and finish. Check for trapped air or moisture and confirm edge adhesion. Follow the kit instructions for any finishing heat, adhesive-setting time and washing precautions.
Film, Installation & Legal Use
About the Smoked Tint Film
This kit uses premium automotive-grade transparent smoked film. The charcoal tint darkens the covered lens areas while allowing some underlying lens detail to remain visible.
Transparent film still reduces light transmission. A visible lens beneath the film does not mean the covered light retains its original brightness or performance.
Dry Application or a Light Mist of Water?
Depending on the supplied film and application area, installation may be completed dry or with a light mist of water to assist positioning. Follow the instructions included with your specific kit before choosing either method.
When a light-mist method is specified, use only the recommended amount and squeegee moisture toward the edges. Avoid flooding the adhesive, adding unapproved chemicals or assuming that every vinyl product uses the same installation process.
Taillight Tint Legality & Purchaser Responsibility
Smoked tint can reduce the brightness of covered lamps and the effectiveness of covered reflectors. This kit is not represented as approved for public-road use.
