2020–2024 Tesla Model Y Full Front PPF Kit — DIY

The first chip hurts the most. Put a clear protective layer between your Model Y and everyday road debris with this precut front-end paint protection film kit. One order includes coverage for the hood, both front fenders, front bumper, headlights, and fog lights, plus installation tools. VOIR Lumière clear gloss PPF preserves the look of your paint without changing its color.

Full Front Coverage Hood, front fenders, bumper, headlights, and fog lights.
VOIR Lumière Clear PPF A clear gloss finish for the original paint color.
Installation Tools Included Film and the tool assortment listed below in one kit.

Tesla Model Y Front-End Paint Protection

From the daily commute to a weekend road trip, your Model Y’s hood, bumper, and front fenders face the road first. This clear bra kit adds a sacrificial film layer to those exposed areas, helping reduce damage from everyday road debris while keeping your Model Y looking like your Model Y.

Vehicle-specific precut pieces give you a defined starting point for installation. Proper cleaning, alignment, and film handling still matter—especially around the bumper's curves. PPF helps protect a surface; it does not repair existing chips, scratches, or failed paint.

Vehicle Fitment

Fits the Tesla Model Y in the following model years:

2020 2021 2022 2023 2024

Match the original-style front bumper, headlights, and front fenders shown in the coverage images before ordering. This listing covers the original-style Model Y shown, not the redesigned Model Y body style.

Check your actual vehicle. Regional or production changes, aftermarket bumpers, replacement lights, or repaired panels can affect pattern fit. Send Premium Auto Styling your VIN and clear front-end photos if the vehicle differs from the images. Fog-light coverage is for the corresponding factory components where equipped. The coverage images identify painted panels; they do not promise coverage over textured wheel-arch trim or the unpainted lower valance.

Installation Overview

Plan your DIY installation around a clean workspace, strong lighting, and patient panel-by-panel application. Precut film helps you start with the right coverage shapes, but the curved bumper still requires controlled alignment, stretching, and squeegee technique. Review the film instructions before starting and contact Premium Auto Styling if you need help.

  1. Check before peeling. Compare the supplied pieces with the vehicle's panels and lights. Resolve any fitment concern before removing the release liner.
  2. Prepare a clean workspace. Work indoors or in a sheltered, well-lit area on cool panels. Wash and decontaminate the surfaces, then inspect paint and light lenses for damage or loose coatings.
  3. Follow VOIR application instructions. Prepare only approved slip and tack solutions at the specified dilution. Use the supplied TACK and SLIP products only as directed for application; they are not routine maintenance cleaners. Do not substitute an unverified household cleaner or solution recipe.
  4. Apply one piece at a time. Keep the adhesive clean and wet as directed. Align the piece to the matching panel before squeegeeing, and control movement rather than forcing the pattern to fit.
  5. Set the film carefully. Use overlapping squeegee passes to move application fluid toward the edges. Avoid excessive stretch, aggressive pressure, or uncontrolled heat. Never cut directly against painted panels or light lenses.
  6. Inspect and allow curing. Check alignment, edges, and trapped contamination. Follow VOIR's curing and care instructions before washing. Stop and contact support if the film will not seat correctly.
If something looks wrong: Photograph the affected area and the full panel before making further adjustments. Do not puncture a bubble, slice the film on the vehicle, or repeatedly heat a lifting edge without appropriate installation guidance. This overview does not replace a complete VOIR application guide.

Care After Installation

Follow VOIR's current care guidance: allow the film to cure without washing for the first 14 days. After curing, hand-wash with pH-neutral soap and clean microfiber. Remove contaminants promptly, avoid abrasive washing and automatic car washes, and do not use solvents or abrasive polishes on installed film.

Film Durability & Surface Condition

VOIR Lumière is a clear gloss protective film designed to take everyday exposure over your paint. How long an installation stays looking its best depends on surface condition, application technique, climate, vehicle use, and care.

Keep edges clean, remove contamination promptly, and inspect the film periodically. PPF is a sacrificial layer: a hard impact can still damage film or paint. It cannot repair chips, failing clear coat, or damaged light lenses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the film red or clear?

Clear. Red shading in the coverage images helps identify the included areas; it does not show the installed film color.

Does this cover the whole vehicle?

No. This is a full front kit covering the listed front panels and lights. Doors and rear sections are not included.

Are both front fenders included?

Yes. One order includes left and right front fender coverage.

Can I install it myself?

Yes, the kit is intended for DIY application and includes the listed tools. Curved bumpers are demanding, so study the application instructions, prepare carefully, and work patiently. Contact Premium Auto Styling before proceeding if a piece does not align or seat correctly.

Will PPF hide or repair existing paint damage?

It will not repair existing chips, scratches, or peeling paint. Inspect and address surface damage before application.

What should I do if I see bubbles or lifting edges?

Do not puncture, cut, or aggressively heat the film. Photograph the issue and contact Premium Auto Styling. Moisture during curing and trapped contamination require different responses; inspect before attempting a fix.

Does precut mean every edge wraps underneath?

No. Coverage illustrations identify panels, not exact pattern boundaries, sensor openings, seams, or wrapped edges. Ask Premium Auto Styling about a specific pattern detail before ordering.
