QUICK INSTALL GUIDE: Getting the vinyl installed on your car is very easy and requires just a few tools - A felt edge squeegee will help but is not required and a spray bottle with water inside. Before you begin installing any vinyl overlays make sure your vehicle is cool to the touch - early morning before driving is a perfect time to apply our vinyls. You’ll first want to clean the surface by wiping the area with isopropyl alcohol, Once the surface is clean you are ready for install. Start spraying the adhesive side of the vinyl with a mist of water then position the overlay into place following the taillight lines. Using your finger or felt edge squeegee start from the center and push the air out from underneath the vinyl toward the edges, Minor trimming may be required so have an exacto knife handy. Lastly, remove any excess bubbles then leave your car in the sun for 30 minutes just to let everything settle. This entire process should take you no more than 15 minutes to complete. DO NOT INSTALL THE VINYL IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR IN HIGH TEMPERATURE AREA.

Item arrived quickly, went on fairly easily. The red tint is a good match to the tail lights and doesn't seem to affect the brake light brightness at all. Gives the rear a different look than stock - the wife is still trying to decide whether to keep it on or not.
These look great on my silver 2019 Crosstrek Limited. They stylishly mask most of the super-wide factory reverse light lens, and the film color matches the taillight lens perfectly. To me the red looks more appropriate than the smoke color, and people have already asked me what year my Crosstrek is because of this "new taillight style" they haven't seen before. The only thing I don't like is when you put the car into Reverse, the reverse lights look a little weird shining from behind the red film. I'll probably buy LED reverse light bulbs to combat that.
The overlays were really easy to put on. I "dry-installed" them on a 45-degree day after thoroughly cleaning the lens surface. Lining them up was a bit tricky, but there are contour lines inside the lens that you can sort of use as a guide. Thankfully the film is pretty forgiving if you need to pull it back and realign it a few times like I did. These were cut perfectly, great product.
This overlay was so easy to put on my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. No problems at all.
