Proper surface preparation is essential for a clean, long-lasting installation. Install the Subaru Ascent third brake light overlay indoors or in a shaded, dust-free area when the vehicle surface is cool to the touch.
For an easier DIY installation, we recommend having a clean microfiber towel, alcohol prep pads and a felt-edge vinyl squeegee available before beginning.
Installation Tip: Do not apply the overlay to a hot, waxed, ceramic-coated or contaminated surface. Avoid washing the vehicle until the adhesive has had adequate time to bond.
