This tint simply darkens up the rear end while still providing the normal light output its meant to have. This is a pre-cut piece of smoke tint that is made specifically for this make and model. INSTALL GUIDE
TOOLS REQUIRED: PRO FELT SQUEEGEE, HEAT GUN
WET INSTALL BASICS: Getting the vinyl installed on your ride is very easy and only requires minimal tools. First you need: lubrication spray solution. You can make a lubrication spray solution at home by using a spray bottle filled with water and mixing it with 1 drop of dish soap or buy our PRE-MIX SOLUTION SOLD HERE, You'll also need an application squeegee. For Best results we recommend cleaning the surface that you'll be applying our overlays too, cleaning should consist of removal of any waxes, dirt and or debris. For the cleaning process a clay bar is highly recommended: CLEANING PREP SPRAY & CLAY BAR's SOLD HERE). Before you begin installation of any vinyl overlays please make sure you are working in the right conditions, you should never install vinyl in direct sunlight, never apply vinyl in temperatures that are neither too hot nor too cold. Our in-house expert installers say the optimum temperature for installing vinyl is between 65 and 72 degrees (F). Vinyl can be installed as low as 50 degrees (F), and up to 90 degrees (F).
FULL INSTALL: After the surface is clean and you have read WET INSTALL BASICS, mist the adhesive side of the overlay with the water solution, as well as the surface that it will be applied to. Start by lining up the turn signal portion, take the curved notch of turn signal overlay and line it up to the inner curve of the tail light. From there the rest of the overlay should be lined up and fall into place.
Using the pro-felt squeegee start from the inner edge near the curved notch, and apply firm pressure to the tail light and squeegee out all air and water from underneath the tint overlay. Once complete you can move on to the reverse light section
Take the reverse light overlay and line it up with the bottom edge of the tail light as well as the inner edge that faces the turn signal. There should not be any excess material to trim so make sure the overlay is lined up to the edge.
Once placed, again using a pro-felt squeegee, apply firm pressure and remove any and all water and air from underneath the tint.
Use a heat gun to heat the overlay, this will reveal if there is any air or water you may have missed. Continue squeegeeing, then do a final pass with the heat gun and the installation is complete.
