The front bumper is one of the most visually important areas of the
first-generation Subaru BRZ. This narrow accent stripe highlights the lower
bumper line and adds contrast without overwhelming the factory design.

Two-Piece Design for Easier Alignment
The bumper pinstripe is divided into separate left-side and right-side
sections. This lets you install one half at a time instead of handling one
long, continuous piece of vinyl across the entire bumper.
Left-Side Stripe

A Small Center Seam Is Normal
The two sections meet at the center of the bumper. A tiny overlap or
hairline gap is acceptable and will be nearly invisible when both pieces
are properly positioned and viewed from a normal distance.

Verify the Front Bumper
Compare your vehicle’s bumper shape with the listing photos before
ordering. Fitment may be affected by aftermarket bumpers, body kits,
previous repairs or regional bumper differences.
Quick Installation Guide

Cool the bumper.
Move the vehicle indoors or into a shaded area and allow the bumper to
become cool to the touch.

Wash the application area.
Remove dirt, dust, road film and other visible contamination from the
lower front bumper.

Complete the final surface preparation.
Wipe the installation area with isopropyl alcohol and a clean microfiber
towel. Remove wax, grease, polish, ceramic coating and detailing residue.

Test-fit both sections.
Position the left and right pinstripes before removing the backing paper.
Confirm how the pieces will meet at the center of the bumper.

Create an alignment hinge.
Use automotive-safe painter’s tape or masking tape to hold each section
in position while confirming the final placement.

Apply one side at a time.
Peel the backing gradually and press the vinyl from the center outward
using smooth, overlapping strokes.

Align the center seam.
Position both halves so they meet cleanly in the center. A tiny overlap
or hairline gap is acceptable.

Set the edges.
Apply firm final pressure across the complete stripe. Light, controlled
heat may be used when necessary to help secure the edges.
Allow the Adhesive to Set
Avoid washing the vehicle or exposing the stripe to high-pressure water
for at least 24 hours after installation.

Wash Carefully
Hand washing is preferred. Keep pressure-washer nozzles and aggressive brushes away from the edges.
Removable Vinyl
Warm the material and pull it back slowly at a low angle during removal.
The exterior-grade gloss vinyl is designed for normal exposure to sunlight,
rain and routine vehicle washing when installed correctly. Actual service life
depends on climate, vehicle storage, surface preparation, washing methods and
environmental exposure.
When removal is desired, warm the vinyl and pull it slowly at a low angle.
Properly installed automotive vinyl is generally removable from sound, properly
cured factory paint and clear coat. Repainted, repaired, peeling, cracked or
otherwise compromised paint may present additional removal risks.
