INSTALL GUIDE 

TOOLS REQUIRED: PRO FELT SQUEEGEE, HEAT GUN or Warm Sunny Day to Post Heat the product

DRY INSTALL BASICS: Getting the vinyl installed on your vehicle is very easy and only requires minimal tools. For Best results we recommend cleaning the surface that you'll be applying our overlays too, cleaning should consist of removal of any waxes, dirt and or debris. For the cleaning process a clay bar is highly recommended: CLEANING PREP SPRAY & CLAY BAR's SOLD HERE). Before you begin installation of any vinyl overlays please make sure you are working in the right conditions, you should never install vinyl in direct sunlight, never apply vinyl in temperatures that are neither too hot nor too cold. Our in-house expert installers say the optimum temperature for installing vinyl is between 65 and 72 degrees (F). Vinyl can be installed in temperatures as low as 65 degrees (F), and up to 90 degrees (F). Vinyl has a more difficult time conforming and staying in place in colder temperatures though, which is why we recommend waiting until temperatures warm up or install in a temperature controlled environment.

FULL INSTALL: After the surface is clean and you have read and completed DRY INSTALL BASICS, take note that this product is fairly large and can be a lot of material to handle when placing. Be sure not to stretch or warp the overlay, it is pre-cut to sit into place perfectly when placed correctly. After removing it from the backing paper you want to make sure that the vinyl does not come in contact with any dirty surfaces or it will effect the finish of your end result.

First, line up the far corner of the headlight with the corner of the overlay. Take the overlay off of the backing paper, line up the rear corner and carefully lay the rest of the vinyl into place following the top front edge of the headlight until you get to the front corner nearest to the front emblem.

Once the vinyl is placed correctly, starting from the center of the overlay, apply firm pressure with a pro-felt squeegee moving outwards to remove any and all air from underneath the vinyl. 

No trimming should be required if placed properly. 

Post heat the overlay, simply by letting your vehicle sit out in the warm sun for a couple of hours our, use a heat gun.
