INSTALL GUIDE

TOOLS REQUIRED: PRO FELT SQUEEGEE, HEAT GUN or Warm Sunny Day to Post Heat the product

DRY INSTALL BASICS: Getting the vinyl installed on your vehicle is very easy and only requires minimal tools. For Best results we recommend cleaning the surface that you'll be applying our overlays too, cleaning should consist of removal of any waxes, dirt and or debris. For the cleaning process a clay bar is highly recommended: CLEANING PREP SPRAY & CLAY BAR's SOLD HERE). Before you begin installation of any vinyl overlays please make sure you are working in the right conditions, you should never install vinyl in direct sunlight, never apply vinyl in temperatures that are neither too hot nor too cold. Our in-house expert installers say the optimum temperature for installing vinyl is between 65 and 72 degrees (F). Vinyl can be installed in temperatures as low as 65 degrees (F), and up to 90 degrees (F). Vinyl has a more difficult time conforming and staying in place in colder temperatures though, which is why we recommend waiting until temperatures warm up or install in a temperature controlled environment.

FULL INSTALL: After the surface is clean and you have read and completed DRY INSTALL BASICS, line up the outer vinyl's corners to the corners nearest to the inner bends of the wings center. Start with one side of the overlay. squeegee the center into place then move toward the bend. Make sure the material is laid into the bend and pushed down completely before squeegeeing the outer edges.

Once the bend is fully set in place, you can address any wrinkles that may be on the outer edge. The best approach is to use the squeegee at an angle starting below the wrinkles rather than pushing them straight on, you can also use your fingers with a wrap glove.

Once complete, you will repeat these steps on the opposite side of the overlay. After, make sure all your edges are pressed down and Post heat the overlay, simply by letting your vehicle sit out in the warm sun for a couple of hours or, use a heat gun to speed up the process.
