If you want to make your Stinger Tail Lights Stand out from the rest, look no further. These Honeycomb tint tail light smoke inserts give that dark aggressive look you can find with the full Smoke inserts we offer, but when the lights turn on that's where this overlay really shines.  A visible honeycomb pattern appears, which can also be seen but only in a subtle way without the lights. With a little bit of patience and the right tools that we have here on our site, such as our Pro Felt Squeegee you can change the entire look of your rear end yourself in under 10 minutes. This honeycomb overlay is made from a special tint film material unlike the rest of our tint products, this material is a dry install product, where as our normal tint film is a wet install product. This makes installing them even easier because they act very similarly to automotive wrap film which is used at our wrap shop everyday.

INSTALL GUIDE

TOOLS REQUIRED: PRO FELT SQUEEGEE, HEAT GUN OR SUNNY DAY FOR POST HEAT PROCESS

DRY INSTALL: Getting the tint installed on your Stinger just got easier with our special high grade tint material made to be a dry install instead of a wet install like other products. For Best results we recommend cleaning the surface that you'll be applying our overlays too, cleaning should consist of removal of any waxes, dirt and or debris. For the cleaning process a clay bar is highly recommended: CLEANING PREP SPRAY & CLAY BAR's SOLD HERE). Before you begin installation of any vinyl overlays please make sure you are working in the right conditions, you should never install vinyl in direct sunlight, never apply vinyl in temperatures that are neither too hot nor too cold. Our in-house expert installers say the optimum temperature for installing vinyl is between 65 and 72 degrees (F). Vinyl can be installed in temperatures as low as 65 degrees (F), and up to 90 degrees (F). Vinyl has a more difficult time conforming and staying in place in colder temperatures though, which is why we recommend waiting until temperatures warm up or install in a temperature controlled environment.

NEXT after making sure your tail light is clear of debris and any moisture, remember this is a dry install not a wet install. Start with the smaller inner portion of the tail light, peel the overlay from the backing paper, and align it to the tail light surface. The easiest way to achieve the best alignment is by paying attention to the top edge of the overlay, and making it meet up with the top edge of the surface it is being applied to, this may take a couple tries so don't be afraid to pull the overlay back up as it has air release technology. The overlay should be placed to give you full coverage all the way to the inner corner without any clear portion of the tail light showing.

Depending on how far in you place your overlay there may be excess material on the edge of the tail light that faces the trunk, this portion can easily be tucked in with your squeegee. Continue squeegeeing the rest of the overlay into place until all air is removed from underneath the tint. 

Continue this same process with the outer portion of the tail light overlay, aligning the top portion, making sure not to leave any clear visible. No trimming is Required for this product.

Go back over the entire product with your squeegee to make sure there is no remaining air underneath the material. Finish by post heating the material with a heat gun or by leaving the vehicle outside on a warm sunny day for a couple of hours. This is done to finish the adhering process, and help conform any beveled edges. Once this is done your install is complete.
