The top of these light lenses are often sun damaged more than most because there is more surface area for the sun to hit, because of this we have developed this product specifically, to prevent this sun damage from happening, or if it already has to cover the light itself.

QUICK INSTALL GUIDE: We recommend the Pro Felt Squeegee, a heat gun and a sharp blade for this install. First clean the surface of the tail light, position the overlay on the tail light. Use a squeegee to push out and remove any excess air bubbles from underneath the vinyl. This entire process should take you about 5-10 minutes to complete one side.

FULL INSTALLATION GUIDE: After cleaning the surface of the tail light, make sure you do not have any debris on the surface as it will show in the product. Line up the corner notch of the headlight first, then to lay start with the side of the overlay. Glass the overlay as much as possible before applying pressure to the vinyl. Then lay the top of the overlay. The tip of the overlay will fall on the edge of the bumper, it simply just needs to be tucked under with a squeegee. The overlay covers areas with complex curves that naturally cause tension. This is why we recommend a heat gun in these areas to lift problem areas and work them out gradually. Once the entire overlay has been laid, go back over it with the heat gun.
