Taillight Deck Overlay for the 2019-2022 Subaru Ascent is a specially made product that has a cut out for your side reflector but blacks out the rest of the side and top of the taillight and completely changes the look of your taillight on it's own. Although it does pair well with the Turn Signal Overlay as well as the Reverse Light Overlay.

TRIMMING REQUIRED

This product is designed with excess around the outer edge to ensure that you are able to tuck the material around the outside edge of the taillight to give you the cleanest end result look. This does mean that some trimming is required because we gave enough excess material not only for you to be able to tuck but for you to be able to grasp the edges of the overlay and conform the product around the bends of the tail light. APPLICATION.

Starting with a clean surface is a must. We recommend installing indoors on a cool day. If your car has been sitting outside in the heat, pull it into a garage or shaded area, away from air borne debris, where the surface can decrease in temperature until it's cool to the touch. We recommend wiping the surface clean with alcohol and a microfiber towel. You'll want to start by lining up the cut out in the center of the overlay to the reflector piece in your taillight as well as the edge that conforms around the corner of the taillight that leads to the rear. lining up these lines are your key starting points. Laying the product from reflector section first than moving outwards from there. It is important that the center cut out is lined up and tacked down first so that the lines are not warped when installing the rest of the overlay.
