Before you begin installation of any vinyl overlays please make sure you are working in the right conditions, you should never install vinyl in direct sunlight, never apply vinyl in temperatures that are neither too hot nor too cold. Our in-house expert installers say the optimum temperature for installing vinyl is between 65 and 72 degrees (F). Vinyl can be installed as low as 50 degrees (F), and up to 90 degrees (F). \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eFULL INSTALL: After the surface is clean and you have read WET INSTALL BASICS, Mist the adhesive side of the overlay with the water solution, as well as the surface that it will be applied to. Line up the top edge of the overlay to the top edge of the third brake light, corner to corner. Lay the top flat portion by applying firm pressure across the surface with a squeegee, starting from the center moving outwards. Then, starting from the center again, lay the bottom portion of the light by squeegeeing starting from the top, motioning downwards until the overlay is completely installed. Continue to squeegee, removing any and all air and water from underneath the overlay.
