Our in-house expert installers say the optimum temperature range for installing vinyl is between 65 and 80 degrees (F). Vinyl can be installed in temperatures as low as 50 degrees (F), and up to 90 degrees (F). \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: small\"\u003eTo begin, you first want to start by positioning the overlay into place on your vehicle. Since this overlay is long, we suggest removing only 1\/4 of the backing paper (you can do this left to right or up to down). This will help you get this overlay placed correctly. There will be a slight overhang on the sides and bottom that can be tucked by using a little heat and a squeegee or finger. You can also use a piece of tape to help with the alignment of this overlay (place the masking tape along the top edge as a guide.
