2013-2017 HYUNDAI GENESIS COUPE
One of the easiest products to install on your gen coupe is fog light overlays. With the flat face they have it makes for an extremely easy install and a big change overall to the look of your car. These fog light overlays help stop hazing and protect your fog lights from damaging road debris while adding an aggressive style! Available in Smoke Tint, Yellow Tint, and Amber Tint.
INSTALL GUIDE:
WET INSTALL BASICS: Getting the vinyl installed on your ride is very easy and only requires minimal tools. What you'll need: lubrication spray solution, squeegee and a heat gun. You can make a lubrication spray solution at home by using a spy bottle filled with water and mixing it with 1 drop of dish soap or buy our PRE-MIX SOLUTION SOLD HERE, You'll also need an application squeegee. For Best results we recommend cleaning the surface that you'll be applying our overlays too, cleaning should consist of removal of any waxes, dirt and or debris. For the cleaning process a clay bar is highly recommended: CLEANING PREP SPRAY & CLAY BAR's SOLD HERE). Before you begin installation of any vinyl overlays please make sure you are working in the right conditions, you should never install vinyl in direct sunlight, never apply vinyl in temperatures that are neither too hot nor too cold. Our in-house expert installers say the optimum temperature for installing vinyl is between 65 and 72 degrees (F). Vinyl can be installed as low as 50 degrees (F), and up to 90 degrees (F).
Install Guide: After the surface is clean and you have read and completed "WET INSTALL BASICS" remove the tint from the backing paper, promptly misting the adhesive side of the tint with water as well as the surface it will be applied to. Line up the top edge of the overlay to the top edge of the fog light. Place the tint, then using frim pressure with the pro-felt squeegee apply it to the center of the overlay working your way outwards until the tint is completely laid on the surface. Continue until all air and moisture is removed from underneath the tint. Then using a heat gun heat the edges of the overlay, and proceed to tuck and confrom the outer edges of the fog light. Once complete, heat the entire product briefly, this is known as post heating. Once that is done your install is complete.
