BMW M3 F80 - F1 Style Vinyl Accent Inlay

The F1 Style Accent Inlay is simply a piece we've created to make your M3 stand out from the rest. It is simple to install and only requires one set of hands and a squeegee. Before taking the vinyl off it's backing paper, you'll want to make sure the surface you're applying the vinyl to is clean and cool to the touch. Applying on a hot surface will warp the vinyl and through off the pre cut lines. Once the surface is clean and free of debris, position this vinyl inlay by first lining up the corner closest to the center of the bumper. The top of the inlay, the edge closest to the headlight has excess vinyl. This vinyl is there to be tucked along the edge with a little heat and a squeegee. When the corner has been positioned you can then work your way along the bottom edge making sure the vinyl lines up with the body line. Depending on how you position the corner originally it may through off where the rest of the line falls so do not be afraid to pick the vinyl back up and reposition it again. Try not to pull the vinyl out of shape with pulling it back up as this will definitely make it far more difficult to reposition the inlay correctly. Use a squeegee to apply the vinyl to the surface and set it into place. Heat and tuck the excess vinyl around the edge and trim any excess left over.
